As reported in last December's issue of Tithe, class president Boyce Price passed away on November 1,2,007. He had been "our man in Hanover" for many years and as such was very active in our reunions and mini-reunions. We often had our meetings at Kendal-atHanover, where he and Betty lived, and sometimes had a meal in the Kendal dining room.
I talked with Betty a few days before Christmas and she told me she was planning to spend Christmas with her daughter in Stowe, Vermont. She said her daughter had been most helpful over the past couple of months. I'm sure she would be glad to hear from any classmates or widows.
Another former resident of Kendal was Bill Macurda's widow, Mim, who died in October 2007. She was a faithful attendee of any '36 gatherings in Hanover and will be missed.
Those of us who are still hanging in there are more and more relying on some kind of assistance. Ray Builter had a pacemaker installed back in September 2007 and I have been on oxygen 24/7 since the spring of 2007. These things maybe a little inconvenient, but they do keep us going.
