Reunion is just around the corner.

The 2007 Hanover Hall Partners conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, in late September and included presentations by Jerry Nunally, of the Colleges development office, and Terry Dunn, head men's basketball coach. Classmates in attendance were Mark Ayers, Paul Cooper, Arnold Henson and Sidhha Webber. Attendees honored Robert "Brother Ah" Northern, a distinguished musician who played with many jazz legends and who served as professor of music at Dartmouth from 1970 to 1973. HHP Inc. recognized the role Brother Ah played in the spiritual and musical development of the organizations members.

In late September Bob Norton was "in town again," attending both his Dartmouth Medical School reunion and a 1972 football reunion. Recall that Bob was co-captain of one of the most successful football teams in College history, with a 34-2-1 four-year record. Now Bob spends his time as professor of emergency medicine and surgery at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He sub-specializes in critical care medicine and medical toxicology.

In mid-December Brown Brothers Harriman & Cos. announced the appointment of Digger Donahue as its new managing partner, effective January i. Digger joined the oldest privately owned bank in the country as a commercial banker in the firms Boston office in 1976, after obtaining his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He was named a partner in 1990 and in 1997 became a member of the firm's steering committee and began running the firm's worldwide investor services business. "Brown Brothers is operating today at a very high level and Digger has been a big part of that as the head of our largest business. In addition, he has been a member of our executive management committee for over 10 years and knows the whole firm extremely well. He is the right guy to take us where we want to go." stated Michael McConnell, the outgoing managing partner.

Karen Fagin White is still practicing law in the business bankruptcy and creditors rights workout area and, thanks to the state of the economy, is busier than she cares to be. Karen also now has the "dubious honor" of being co-president of her law firm. She and Tom found time to take "an incredible trip" to Russia last summer and are looking forward to the reunion.

Patsy Nutt Decker and Eric Decker sent greetings from Salisbury, Maryland, with a note about their inability to attend our reunion since they will be on a bird-watching expedition in China. Both are avid birdwatchers and have traveled extensively to see unusual species in their unique habitats. When not birding Eric maintains a practice as a pathologist with the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Debby Groisser, vice president and corporate counsel for The Prudential Cos. in Newark, New Jersey, also advised she is unable to join us due to numerous activities related to the high school graduation of one of her children, but sends her best wishes that all classmates have "a wonderful time."

Looking forward to seeing many of you verysoon.
