Hi '01s! Hope everyone has had a good summer, hard to believe how quickly it goes. Thanks for the updates, please keep them coming!

Congratulations to Kate Mattern and Conner McGee '02, who were married June 21 in a beautiful ceremony in Manchester, Vermont. The wedding was well attended by Dartmouth alums from all age groups as Kate's father, Dr. Richard Mattern, is a member of the class of 1970. Guests were also treated to performances by members of the Decibelles and Cords during the reception—it was a blast! Ellen Pfeiffer married Erdin Beshimov on April 19 in Washington, D.C. Erdin is from Kyrgyzstan. Lots of Dartmouth folks celebrated with the happy couple, including Anna Rudberg, Betsy Timbers, Jim Flahive, Rachel Fink, Jen Tlumak, Shannon Locks and a bunch of'68s from her father's class. The couple is celebrating again on August 16 in Kyrgyzstan if any Dartmouth folks are going to be in the area, they would love to have you crash the party! And Adam Tanney married Jennifer Kirby on June 14 with lots ofDartmouth classmates in attendance. Best of luck to all of the newlyweds!

Emily Littlefield recently got engaged to Mike Libby; they are currently living in the Boston area and are planning a wedding on the Cape next spring.

Melissa Edelman and her husband, Jason Sorkin, welcomed twin baby girls, Sophia Rose and Olivia Joy, on May 22, "just four days after we moved to a house in Scarsdale, New York." And congratulations to Karl Polifka, whose first child, Henry Lewis PolifkRivas, was born on April 22. Karl also just graduated from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Kara House Bayer and Michael Bayer are thrilled to announce the arrival of their second daughter, Elizabeth Kirsten Bayer, who was born June 15 and joins big sister Abby.

Congratulations to Chiara Grabill, who recently graduated from Columbia University Law School! Jess Penchos has left behind her eighth-grade classroom in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and moved to Berkeley, California, to work for a science curriculum development group at UC Berkeley. She would love to hear from other alums living in the Bay area. Tony Luckett will also be heading out west—he is leaving Boston to attend Stanford Business School in the fall.

Christine Percheski just finished her Ph.D. in sociology at Princeton and will be moving to Boston soon for a postdoc. And Michael Andrew recently moved to San Francisco; he is now working at a full-service media agency doing analytics and online marketing work. Jenny Alden just returned from Philadelphia, where she was shooting for Transformers 2. She will soon be heading to Boston to film scenes for another film. Her Web site ( www.whateverhollywood.com ) is up and running so check it out!

Please continue to send me updates.
