By the time you read this we will have celebrated our 20th reunion! If you missed our weekend in Hanover you may not have heard that ’90s are the darlings of the media business.

Julie Davis’ latest feature film, Finding Bliss, is complete. It’s the story of an aspiring filmmaker who takes a job at a porn studio, planning to use the company’s lush facilities to secretly film her own movie after hours. (Is this a case of art mirroring life?) Julie wrote and directed Finding Bliss, which was screened as the closing film at New York City’s Gen Art Film Festival this spring.

Eve Kushner writes, “After several delays my publisher has finally come out with my book, Crazy for Kanji: A Guide to the Wonderful World of Japanese Characters.” To spread the word Eve is appearing at festivals and museums (and was even on NPR talking about her passion for kanji!). Find out more at www.evekushner.com. Kampai, Eve!

Steve Wydler’s latest claim to fame is that his girls were hanging with the first kids, Sasha and Malia, at the annual White House Easter egg roll. MSNBC covered the event live, although strangely there was no mention of Steve’s academic prowess during four years in Hanover. Reunion marked a changing of the guard for our class, and that means this is the final column for the second-floor Streeter twins. Your new co-secretaries are Rob Crawford and Walter Palmer.

Bill and I have truly enjoyed hearing from all of you and sharing your amazing personal and professional accomplishments with the entire class. Thanks for your input during the past five years, and please don’t leave the new Crawford/Palmer team hanging.
