The pressure of high expectations? Men’s soccer coach Chad Riley feels it as his team prepares to vie for its fourth straight Ivy title. “It’s positive pressure,” he says. “Something that will lift us up.” The fifth-year coach (39-23-12 overall) has a squad that plays fast and aggressively. “When we get the ball, we want to move quickly to the goal,” he says. Riley, who scouted players during their high school days, describes them as “throwbacks” who love the game. “They understand how fortunate they are to be at one of the greatest colleges in the world while competing at the highest level of Division I,” he adds. The action starts at Michigan State on September 1.
