Here’s what’s news with our classmates. Brian Chao is happy to share that his first book is finally out: Continental Powers and Naval Development: Strategy Coherence, Threat Diffusion, and Success at Sea is the 75th monograph in Routledge’s Cass Series: Naval Policy and History. If you’re interested in great-power politics, military development, and naval history, his book may be for you. Mark J. Harris got married to Jordan Heser on November 15 in Hawaii. He wrote that it was a perfect day, and they were honored by all the friends and family who were able to celebrate with them (including Raymond Rodriguez). They live in Cincinnati now, so if you’re in the area or visiting, please let them know! Catch Lilian T. Mehrel’s award-winning movie Honeyjoon (follow @honeyjoonfilmto see when it’s screening near you). Up in January was Palm Springs, California, and Dartmouth. Honeyjoon premiered at Tribeca, won the Tribeca AT&T Untold Stories award, multiple audience awards, and was No. Ion Vogue’s standouts list.
