After another quinquennium the class of '56 held its fifty-fifth anniversary at Hanover during Commencement week. But only five of the twelve living members were present, viz.: Bridgman, Merrill, Porter. Taylor, Young. The meeting was held Tuesday evening at the house of Charles P.Chase, treasurer of the College.
We spent a pleasant evening in talking over the past and the present. By the courtesy of Mrs. Chase, refreshments were served to us. Ayer having resigned, Bridgman was chosen secretary. We did not adjourn sine die, but left it undetermined whether we should try to have another meeting. The secretary requests members of the class to communicate to him from time to time any items of interest concerning themselves and classmates. After prayer, we separated at eleven o'clock.
Secretary, Isaac Bridgman, Northampton, Mass.
