On the Wednesday previous to the Harvard game, the Thayer School men left Hanover, going to Worcester and thence to Boston, in order to inspect various engineering exploits. At Worcester, an examination of the railroad grading was made. Visits were, also, paid to the Sewage Precipitation Works, to the American Steel and Wire Company's plant, and to the Sand-Lime Brick Works. In Boston, an inspection was made of the Filene store, of the subway construction work under Winter Street, and of the City Hall annex construction.
