CIVIC LEAGUE
May 1912

On April 11, the sixth convention of the Intercollegiate Civic League was held at Columbia University, New York City. Two representatives from the Dartmouth Webster Club attended the convention. Addresses were made by several delegates. A series of resolutions was drawn up and presented asking that the United States recognize the Republic of China. After the session at Columbia sixty of the delegates went to Washington, where they called on several of the nation's political leaders and had an opportunity to see the Senate, House of Representatives, and Supreme Court.
