FRESHMEN FROM NEW YORK CITY

The following figures compiled by the Registrar show the number of freshmen in Dartmouth from New York City or within fifty miles, for the past ten years. 'While the rate of growth is not uniform from year to year, it is very marked within the period under consideration and shows the decided growth in recent years of the sphere of influence of the College.
