FRESHMAN DEBATERS

The Freshman Debating Union has decided that it will support the negative side of the question submitted by the sophomores for the annual Sophomore-Freshman Debate. The question reads as follows:

Resolved: That House Resolution 26447 (H. R. 26447, 62nd Congress, 2nd Session), "A bill to repeal that part of an act entitled, 'An act to provide for the opening, maintenance, protection, and operation of the Panama Canal, and the sanitation and government of the Canal Zone'; approved August 24, 1912; which exempts vessels in the coastwise trades from tolls at the Panama Canal", should be made law.
