BASKETBALL

In two pre-season games the Dartmouth basketball team defeated Springfield Training. School and New Hampshire State, 24-14, and 24-18, respectively. The games were both slow because of the poor team work and inaccurate shooting of the home team and visiting teams. Margeson will not be out for the season as was feared. His Thayer School work will permit him to play at least the first semester. Captain Snow is still held back by his injured foot, but should be in the game after the holidays.
