Rev. Sumner H. Sargent has been participating in the activities of the Interchurch World Movement, his immediate work being a survey of the church conditions of a portion of the rural communities in the state of Maine. He has now accepted a call to the pastorate of the Congregational church of Swanzey, N. H.

A newspaper of Washington, D. C., announces that Benjamin F. Adams on the 20th of March tendered his resignation as assistant assessor of the district to become secretary-treasurer of a local concern. In 1900 Mr. Adams was appointed a clerk in the office of the assessor, and after various promotions was made assistant assessor in January, 1911.

Dr. Francis P. Conway has removed to Lincoln Park, N. J., for the practice of medicine. He served in army camps in Virginia and at a hospital at Newport News during the war, attaining the rank of captain.
