EDWARD TUCK A COMMANDER OF LEGION OF HONOR

Edward Tuck '62, Dartmouth's greatest benefactor and a generous friend to France, has been made a commander of the Legion of Honor, and his wife, who was Miss Julia Stell, has been made an officer of the Legion, in recognition of their work in caring for the wounded during the war. Mr. Tuck, founded and maintained the Stell Hospital at Rueil. He is a member of the advisory council of the American Red Cross in Europe.
