Elmer F. Howard has announced his resignation as superintendent of schools at Narthfield, Mass., to take effect at the close of the present school year.
Justice William H. Taylor was recently appointed by Governor Hartness of Vermont a member of the commission to compile, write, and edit the history of Vermont's part in the World War, as provided by the state legislature recently in session.
