The second annual "Cut and Fill" of the Thayer Engineering School was held Feb. 24, at the Moose Mountain cabin of the Outing Club under the direction of Dr. Leland Griggs, "Superintendent of Equipment and Resident Construction Engineer." The menu "Specifications" made up as a blue print was an ex- ceedingly novel one with the "feed" itself recorded under the four appropriate heads of Preparation for Sub-Grade, Sub-Grade, Ballast, and Binder (where needed). All students at the Thayer School and graduates who were in Hanover, as well as visiting engineers partook of the dinner.
