Dr. Charles Sheard, who took his master's degree at Dartmouth in 1907, editor of the Journal of Physiological Optics, has been notified of his election as an honorary fellow of the Optical Society of Great Britian, an honor that has been conferred on only ten scientists since the foundation of the society in 1899.
