A point system similar to that in effect at several other colleges for the regulation of student activities has been adopted to' become effective next year. The system drawn up classifies the various student activities into three groups so that no man may hold in the same year more than a limited number of positions. By adopting these regulations Palaeopitus has accomplished the double purpose of insuring the efficient administration of the various student activities and of preventing any one man from having more extra curriculum work than he can properly carry.
The proposed system does not regulate the student's participation in athletics, the band, the musical clubs, The Players, election to Palaeopitus, class officers or similar activities, but merely regulates the administrative offices which he may hold. It will not effect members of the class of 1923 since elections had already been made before the system was adopted. The class of 1924 will be the first class to fall under the jurisdiction of the rules limiting the number of offices, and 192S under the rules limiting the number of competitions which may be entered. The proposed system follows:
No man may hold more than one position in class I in the same year, nor shall he hold simultaneously more than one position in Class I and one in Class II, nor shall he hold simultaneously more than two positions in Class II. A man holding the managership of a major sport shall not be permitted to manage a sport listed in Class II.

1. Two publications; 2. Athletic managerships; 3. Non-Athletic managership; 4. Not more than one unclassified activity or competition, if participating in 1, 2, or 3 above, or under no conditions more than three unclassified activities or competitions.
