D. B. Keniston was recently appointed to the Boston Charter Commission by Speaker Young of the House of Representatives. Keniston has represented Ward Seven in the House for the last five years.
P. O. Dorr has recently been elected a trustee of the Springfield Institution of Savings, the sixth largest savings bank in the state, with deposits of over thirty-four millions.
G. W. Elderkin has returned from an archaeological tour in Egypt, Palestine, Syria, and Cyprus. He was very kindly entertained in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Brown at Beirut, and met Ernest Watson by chance on the street in Athens. Both are flourishing.
