The Referendum in Washington, by Mr. Stuart A. Rice, an abstracted paper presented at the Semi-Centennial "Conference of Social Work" last spring has been reprinted from the National Conference of Social Work, fiftieth annual session. Mr. Rice is also the author of "Motives in Radicalism and Social Reform" in the American Journal of Sociology for March, 1923.

The Cultural Approach to Sociology by Mr. Melville J. Herscovits of Columbia, and Mr. Malcolm M. Willey has been reprinted for private circulation in the September, 1923, issue of the American Journal of Sociology. The Journal of Social Forces for March, 1923, contains another paper by Mr. Willey and Mr. Herscovits entitled "A Note on the Psychology of Servitude."
