When Dartmouth invaded central Pennsylvania, the stronghold of collegiate wrestling, the Green grapplers came back from their match with Lehigh much the worse for wear. Lehigh won six matches by falls and the seventh by decision, thus gaining a clean sweep and score of 33-0. Borglum in the 145 pound class, and Bauman in the 158 pound class, forced their opponents to go extra periods before they could be pinned to the mat. Oberlander, in the heavy weight class, through his inexperience lost to his heavier opponent by decision.
