The scholastic "casualty list" announced by the offices of administration following the recent mid-year examinations, contains what is believed to be the smallest percentage of failures on record here. Only 46 men of the total enrollment of approximately 2000 have been separated from college, the separations numbering 28 freshmen, 16 sophomores, 1 junior and 1 senior.
The number of men placed on probation is larger than usual, due to a new academic ruling disciplining men who, though they may have passed in all of their courses have achieved marks barely above the passing grade. The total of men on probation is announced as 143, including 70 freshmen, SO sophomores, 15 juniors, and 8 seniors.
