Dartmouth 1928 28, Holderness 6

As a curtain raiser for the Columbia varsity game on January 17, the yearling quintet won a slow game from Holderness School, 28-6. Coach Stark started his regular lineup of Captain Reece and Zanger forwards, Langdell center, and Blair and Ellis guards, but made several substitutions. The Green five was in only fair form. Had the school boys possessed an oifense of any strength they might have finished in the lead.
