Dartmouth retained its hold on the pinnacle of the Intercollegiate League by tripping Columbia 31-15 in the Alumni Gymnasium Saturday, January 17. Coach Wachter used his first string lineup throughout the game.

"The Morningside team was completely outclassed and the Green, although bothered by the New Yorkers' sturdy defense, tallied almost at will. The playing of each member of the quintet was so brilliant that there were no stars. Captain Goas, Friedmann and Sailer each had three baskets and Picken and Dey turned in floor work sufficiently aggressive to offset their lower scoring.
