A son, Fred Wetherbee, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Norman B. Richardson on December 8. Brooklyn has never known a prouder father.
Lieut. John Gorton had a remarkable escape on October 11 last, when a fast seaplane which he was flying plunged from a height of 100 feet into the waters of the Delaware River. Although lashed to the cockpit, he managed to extract himself in a two minute struggle beneath the surface, and was picked up uninjured save for scratches and bruises.
Early reports from Chairman Stockdale indicate that all records will be broken at the bull market in June. Almost all the cards received to date have been "yeses."
