"The Social Science Pamphlets" volume two number two (Experimental edition) "Essentials in Geography—History—Civics" by Harold Rugg 'OB, Earl Rugg and Emma Schwette has just appeared. This particular monograph deals with "The Mechanical Conquest of America."

The Century Company have just published "Tradition and Jazz" by Professor Fred Lewis Pattee '88. This volume will be reviewed in a future issue of the MAGAZINE.

The Library Journal for March 1, 1925, contains an article by Mr. Harry B. Preston '05, "Capitalizing the Pupil's Judgment of Books."
