"Purposive Writing and Speaking" by Joseph A. Wallace '07 and James Milton O'Neil '07 has recently come from the press of Longmans, Green and Company. This book will be reviewed in a later issue of the MAGAZINE.
Mr. Victor Safford, 1890, is the author of "Immigration Problems, Personal Experiences of an Official," Dodd, Mead and Company. A review of this book will appear later.
D. Appleton and Company has published a book entitled "A Midsummer Mystery" by Gordon Hall Gerould, 1899, a review of which will appear later.
"Ernest Fox Nichols" by Philip Fox '02 has been reprinted from the January, 1925, issue of the Astrophysical Journal. This very excellent tribute contains a fine likeness of the late President of the College.
"Desecration and Other Verse" by Oliver A. Wallace 'ex25 appeared recently in an edition of 113 copies on handsome paper. This little volume was printed at the private press of the author by the author with the assistance of Jack Palmer '25.
The P. F. Volland Company, Chicago, have recently published two attractive gift books edited by Edwin Osgood Grover, 1894, "My Little Book of Emerson, being an introduction to Emerson and a Breviary of his contribution to the inspirational literature of the world," and "My Little Book of Stevenson."
"Terrances of Bethel Vermont" by Professor C. H. Richardson '92 of Syracuse University appears in the report of the Vermont State Geologist for the years 1923-24.
