TESREAU DRIVING VARSITY FOR ALUMNI COMMENCEMENT GAME
June 1925

Alumni returning for the 1925 Commencement activities are assured a real baseball game, the outcome of which no one dares to predict at this time. The game on Monday morning June 22, between Jeff Tesreau's varsity team and the alumni team, composed of former Dartmouth stars, should be an even contest full of fine playing and rare skill. Much interest has been displayed on the part of members of the Alumni team and the undergraduates are anticipating the opportunity of showing what they can do against an array of men well known in the collegiate baseball world.

The attractive uniforms being made for the Alumni team will be worn by such men as "Ginger" Bruce '20, "Ted" Caswell '23, "Stan" Lyon '24, "Chick" Maynard '20, "Mel" Merritt '20, "Connie" Murphy '17, Jim Robertson '20, Fred Shaneman '24, Frank Smith '24, "Tommy" Tracy '23, Frank Ross '21, "Bags" Wanamaker 'IS, Johnnie Murphy '19, Zack Jordan '20, Stan Minor '22, Sid Hazelton '09, Fletcher Low 'IS, and possibly a few others. No one will deny that a hard hitting, clean fielding and all round fast team composed of men from the above group will offer the varsity keen competition.
