For the third consecutive year Dartmouth is represented in a deputation of American college undergraduates visiting for a month in England under the auspices of the EnglishSpeaking Union. E. J. Duffy '26 and W. M. Rankin '26 were selected to accompany two Princeton and two Swarthmore students on the visit to England.

Dartmouth undergraduates who have made the trip in the past three years are J. D. Landauer '23, L. B. Norstrand '23, L. K. Neidlinger '23, R. B. Staley '23, A. L. Vincent '24, E. H. Learnard '24, W. W. Smith '24 and G. G. Traver '24.

John W. Davis is president of the EnglishSpeaking Union of the United States. The Earl of Balfour, K.G., is president of the British branch.

The United States branch of the EnglishSpeaking Union was incorporated in 1920. Since January, 1922, membership in the American society has grown from 2SOO to over 10,000. The purpose of the organization is given as follows: "Tol draw together in the bond of comradeship the English-speaking peoples of the world."
