Prof. J. M. Mecklin, of the Department of Sociology, addressed a Forum of the Community Church, Park Avenue, and spoke also at the All Souls Community Forum in Summit, N. J., during the past month. His subject was "Why the Klan?"

Prof. James P. Richardson, of the Depart- ment of Political Science addressed the Men's Club, of the Franklin Street Congregational Church, of Manchester, N. H., on "What a Professor of Government Thinks About."

President Ernest M. Hopkins spoke at the Graduate Club, February 20 on "The College Constituency." «

Professor Leland Griggs and Dean E. Gordon Bill were the faculty speakers at the first smoker of the 1929 class in Alumni Gymnasium, Feb- ruary 24.

Speakers at the Junior Class smoker in Alumni Gymnasium February 2, were President Ernest M. Hopkins, Professor Harry Wellman, and Dean Craven Laycock.
