Twenty-nine men reported to Coach Jeff Tesreau at Alumni Gymnasium March 12 in response to his call for candidates for Dartmouth's 1926 baseball team. Eight of the men reporting were veterans of last season's team and nine were members of last year's freshman team.
Tesreau's greatest problem will be the development of capable pitchers, all of last year's box men having been graduated. The battery candidates have been working out, however, for several weeks and Tesreau expects that among them will be found reliable performers.
Fourteen men, including four pitchers, will be taken on the spring training trip in the south.
