Dartmouth 41½—Brown 20½

Bryant, Dartmouth's sophomore flash was responsible for 18 of the points scored by the Green team, winning both the 50 and 100 yard dashes and, in the relay race, overcoming a handicap given him by his team-mates and nosing out Hull, of Brown, on the last lap. A remarkable diving performance was given by Michael, of Dartmouth, New England intercollegiate champion, who was credited with a score of 99.9 in his event. Leigh, of Dartmouth, swimming in his first collegiate race, defeated Hull, of Brown, who placed on the Ail-American swimming team, as runner-up to Fall, of Stanford, the 1924 Olympic champion. Yale 42—Dartmouth! 20

Yale's great swimming team won with little difficulty from the Dartmouth natators in a meet held in the Spaulding Pool before a large Winter Carnival gathering February 11. This meet marked Dartmouth's entry into the Intercollegiate Swimming Association.

Bryant, of Dartmouth, who raced to a victory over House, of Yale, in the 50 yard dash, provided one of the spectacular features of the meet. In the 100 yard event Bryant again won for Dartmouth bringing his point total for the day to 10. Dartmouth added eight points by winning the relay race, and Michaels contributed additional points in the diving contest. Michaels had been favoured to win his event but was off form and outscored by Vaden of Yale.

An interesting feature of the meet was the water-polo game, the first contest of this kind in which a Dartmouth team ever competed. The experienced Yale players had no difficulty in winning from bewildered Hanoverians by the musical comedy score of 70 to 2.
