A letter from Jim Pringle reads as follows,: "I have been down to a meeting of the Department of Superintendence at Dallas, Texas, where Morris Lull appeared in the private car which he uses as the 'executive vice-president' of the Southern Pacific lines in Louisiana and Texas. His sovereignty extends as far as El Paso. We had a delightful 'reunion' with Morris, whose interest in Dartmouth is warming up just at this time because his boy who is at Andover has reached the conclusion that Dartmouth is the only college for him.'
A letter from Tully Thorne says: "I suppose that I am the first grandfather of the class. I have a grandson, John Thorne, 3d, who is now two years and three months old."
