During January and February voting was in progress for nominations to the Alumni Council and these nominations have now been completed. According to the constitution of the Council as recently revised by the Alumni Association, the three alumni receiving the highest number of votes in each of the five geographical districts become nominees and qualify for election balloting, provided they accept the nomination, but with the further provision that at least five nominating votes are necessary. Failing this number of votes, or in case any alumnus nominated declines the nomination, it may happe<n that less than threle nominees appear in some of the. districts. In case one nominee only qualifies in any district this nomination is equivalent to election and no balloting will take place but the electors in such districts will be notified of the fact of the nomination. Election ballots will go out to votingmembers of the Association early in April.
