HEEP AND LANGDELL CHOSEN FOR ALL-STAR EASTERN FIVE
APRIL 1928

Capt. W. G. Heep, Jr. '28 and R. E. Langdell '28, two outstanding players on the 1927-28 Dartmouth quintet, won places on the all-star Eastern Intercollegiate League basketball five picked by the coaches of the member teams. M. G. Swarthout '30 was placed on the second team, which gives Dartmouth three out of the 10 coveted individual positions. R. W. Austin '29 was given honorable mention.

Langdell, together with Schaaf, Pennsylvania's star who was the league's high scorer, has the distinction of being unanimously chosen by the coaches. This is the third year that the lanky Green center has been mentioned. Heep was one point shy being a unanimous choice.

The other two men picked for the first team are Foot and Miles, both of Princeton.

Last year, although Dartmouth had a championship team, only one man, Capt. J. E. Picken, Jr. received a position on the all-star team.
