Dartmouth 15—Brown 0

Following its 4-1 victory over Harvard the Dartmouth skaters took Brown into camp by one of the largest shut-outs ever recorded in Green hockey. Playing on poor ice at the home rink the invaders from Providence were turned back 15-0, and only good work on the part of Hunt, the visiting goalie, kept the final tally as low as it was. Lane, Rogers, and Jeremiah each scored three goals. The other Green points were made by Gardner, Fryberger, Heath, and Shea. This is the first year at ice hockey for the Brunonians.

Dartmouth 8—Princeton 2

Avenging its early season defeat by Princeton the Dartmouth hockey forces subdued the Tigers in their den February 25, 8-2. Captain Lane, concluding his college hockey career, made four of the Green goals and clinched his position as the highest scoring defense player in college circles. Rogers, who scored two goals on Harvard within the first two minutes of play the week before, played his usual good game and together with Shea made the other Dartmouth goals. Harvard having defeated Yale in the annual series between the two, the championship is in some doubt because of the game between Dartmouth and Harvard. The Crimson won from both Yale and Princeton but lost to Dartmouth. Yale won its two games with Dartmouth and Princeton won one game and lost the other contest in its series with the Green. By virtue of its victory over Harvard the Dartmouth skaters may logically claim the title.
