On Friday evening, October 25, the night before the Harvard-Dartmouth football game, a joint round-up of '97 and '98 was held at the Parker House, Boston. There were 25 present. From '97 there were Eddie Carr, Frank Drew, Cap Holt, Dave Maloney, Sport Morse, Arthur O'Malley, Pat Rollins, Morton Tuttle, Joe Ryan, Cap Shaw, Winfield Temple, Herbert Thyng, R. H. Chesley. From '98 there were present Joe Bartlett, Dr. Batchelder, A. R. Kendall, H. W. Blake, Buck Chandler, Denis Crowley, Harry Goodall, Charles Littlefield, "Indian" Macandrew, Bob Marden, Doc Nolan, and Phil Patey. The affair was entirely informal. After spending a pleasant time at the joint round-up many adjourned to the larger Dartmouth round-up held at the Boston City Club.
This year Harry Goodall is president of the Dartmouth Association of Boston, and it is hoped that a large delegation of '98 men will be present at the annual dinner. The date is January 25, the place, the Copley Plaza. '98 up!
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest P. Seelman announce the marriage of their daughter, Viola Bailey, to Mr. Maurice Victor Odquist, Saturday, October 28, 1929, Brooklyn, N. Y.
There was a goodly number of '98 men in attendance at the Harvard-Dartmouth football game this year,—Bartlett, Batchelder, Blake, Buck Chandler, Ich Crane, Denis Crowley, Duncan, Goodall, Hoyt, Kendall, C. W. Littlefield, Macandrew, Marden, Doc Nolan, Rodgers, Spring, E. O. Tabor, Montgomery, and Patey. The wives, sons, and daughters were also in attendance. Incidentally it was a good game to witness.
Pete Adams writes that he recently had a very pleasant visit with Fletcher Harper Swift. They had not met since graduation.
Charles Bartlett, son of Joe Bartlett, has missed but one lecture in the three years he has attended Harvard Law School. Thus does the rising generation stimulate and encourage the former.
Doc Nolan is contemplating business residence in South America.
Jack Spring's law practice often takes him to Washington, D. C.
Everett Hoyt and the Secretary have sons at Tabor Academy at Marion, Mass., with hopes of attending Dartmouth later.
