The new Outing Club House given to the College by the Class of 1900 is now open for business in a culinary way. While hot dogs and coffee are obtainable downstairs, the real center of interest is the dining room upstairs presided over by Mrs. Preston, who in times past has run the Wayside Inn on Thetford Hill in Vermont. The dining room is furnished in a tasty fashion and the food (Mrs. Preston's waffles and chicken are famous) is fine.

While the old time strawberry shortcake feeds of Doc. Griggs' are rarely, if ever, given around Hanover now, the food cooked and served by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Preston, carries on an old tradition.
