D.C.A. Conference

Dartmouth sent seven representatives to the annual mid-winter conference of New England colleges at Northfield. Dr. Harry F. Ward of Union Theological Seminary was the principal leader and the topic under discussion was "Religion in Industry." A case study was made of the New Bedford strike situation, and several persons were present from that city to present the facts of both sides.

The delegates from Dartmouth were C. E. Butler, secretary of the D. C. A., R. L. Funkhouser '30, F. H. Horn '30, W. E. Flannery '29, J. S. Whiton '32, J. French, Jr., '30, and Y. Hirota, graduate student.
