Third Movie Release

The third release of "Dartmouth College News," sponsored by the Secretaries' Association, was shown for the first time at the dinner of the Connecticut Alumni at Bridgeport, Conn., April 12. Copies,of the two reels of Dartmouth in the winter are now being shown by alumni clubs and associations throughout the country. The films include the Carnival, winter sports, a trip up Mt. Washington by 20 undergraduates in midwinter, and shots of snow scenes about Hanover. Movies were taken at the Carnival Ball for the first time and these are included in the reels. The fourth issue of the movies will be made up late in the spring and will consist chiefly of new buildings, both interiors and exteriors, members of the faculty, old town residents, street scenes, and other popular subjects.

The alumni in Paris will see all five reels of the movies for the year when they are shown there early this month. The many requests from individual alumni who wish to show the movies in their homes will be met this month when all of the films, with the exception of the current release, will be returned to Hanover following their showing to the clubs and associations.
