New Bequest Booklet

The original edition of this booklet entitled Philanthropic Estate Planning was printed in June of 1951. Its purpose was to present to the alumni and friends of Dartmouth, in brief and convenient form, both the needs of the College for endowment funds and the various methods by which Dartmouth may be included in estate plans. Significant tax aspects are treated in some detail. The booklet found wide acceptance, with the result that the large original supply became exhausted this past summer. Work was immediately started to expand the text and to revise it in accordance with the Revenue Act 1951 and current tax regulations.
