NORTHWEST ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
AUGUST 1929

The following resolution was voted at the last annual meeting of the Association. "HENRY LYNN MOORE, Dartmouth graduate of the class of 1877, beloved alumnus of the College, ardent member of the Alumni Council and later College Trustee, departed this life December 14, 1928.

"No Dartmouth graduate made a greater impression upon the Twin City Alumni Association than did Mr. Moore. His zeal and untiring efforts in everything pertaining to Dartmouth were without parallel, and his memory will remain fresh and treasured in the minds of all Dartmouth men who came in contact with him.

"One of the early organizers of the Dartmouth Association of the Northwest, his interest kept the Association alive and in contact with the College in those days when its numbers were few and scattered.

"The young men of the later generation who arrived in the Twin Cities from Dartmouth will never forget the welcome smile and kindly interest which was accorded them by Mr. Moore, nor will those who were undergraduates during his term as trustee forget the annual dinners he gave at the College for the Minnesota group. "Mr. Moore's wonderfully trained and fertile mind, with his abounding sense of humor, provided pleasure and entertainment to all who met him.

"As a token of our love and esteem, be it "Resolved that this testimony be spread upon the minutes of the Alumni Association of the Northwest, and that a copy be sent to Mrs. Moore, Mr. J. F. Moore, and to the College."
