"The Students Speak Out: a Symposium from 22 Colleges" published by the New Republic, contains "A Visit to Utopia" by J. Ford Blickley '28. The essays in this volume were selected from those submitted by students and recent graduates who responded to the New Republic's invitation to write on college as it might be.

The issue of College Humor for March 1930 •contains an article "The College Club Murder" by Clifford Orr '22. The same magazine •contains an article "Another College Heard From, Dartmouth Jack-o-Lantern," by K. M. Meyercord '27.
