CLASS OF 1873

The Alumni Editor, for himself and his fellow secretaries, would extend to the secretary of 1873 assurance of sincere sympathy in the great loss Mr. Adriance has sustained in the death of his wife, Mrs. Lizzie W. Adriance, which occurred at their home in Winchester on November 13. She had apparently recovered from a fracture of the hip, but complications resulted which proved fatal.

At the funeral service the class was represented by Professor and Mrs. C. F. Bradley, N. W. Ladd, C. H. Jones, and I. R. Clark.

Mrs. Adriance had in recent years somewhat regularly accompanied her husband to the annual secretaries' meeting, and will be greatly missed by the older group of secretaries.
