For the past month we have two interesting and important events to record, both marriages. On October 2, Clarence Opper was married to Miss Lucy Berlin in New York city.
Two weeks later we have the news of the wedding of Andrew S. Ross to Miss Virginia B. Cowin of Richmond, Va. The ceremony took place at Richmond on October 16.
Except for these two outstanding happenings we have nothing to relate for this month. However, Fred Carleton dropped in to see us the other day while attending a convention of Haskins and Sells in New York, and told us of his thriving family in Minneapolis, with accounts of that town which tempt us to return the visit.
Another intrepid accountant, Frank Clahane, has been engaged at Moody's Investors Service to get at the bottom of this depression, and an expectant world is awaiting the pronouncement of the results of researches.
