The Dartmouth is the oldest college newspaper in America . . . the intramurals this year have been better organized and attended than ever before . . . there is even a feeling that they will sooner or later supplant the 'big games' . . . there used to be a pump in front of Dartmouth Hall . . . the chimes in Baker Library are playing pieces we can all sing to . . . that some people call this carillon-crooning ... a Vigilance Committee has had to be organized to subdue the arrogance of the class of 1935 . . . Hanover is the most restful place in the world when one has nothing to do . . . the Pictorial has just come out . . . there are classes weekly to check up on the underweight men in College . . . the Outing Club has had and is still having more trips than they have ever had before . . . the dog population of Hanover is once again in evidence . . . they cruise in smaller groups now, three or four at the outside . . . we suspect that it is either fraternities or sex which has caused the division . . . the drive from Northampton is becoming more misty weekly . . . the frost is getting into the roads again . . . the Inn is filled almost every week-end, game or no game . . . there are still a few hardy souls playing golf . . . the college has turned en masse to squash . . . winter is coming, and we're glad, glad, because it gives us the Hanover which could be Hanover only, and not another town in the country . . . that's all for this month . . . we're still looking for suggestions.
