President Hopkins, on the occasion of the Wabash College Centennial at which he was one of the principal speakers, received an LL.D. degree from Wabash, at the hands of his brother, Louis B. Hopkins, president of the Crawfordsville, Indiana, institution. This is the President's twelfth honorary degree and his eleventh doctorate of laws. The Wabash centennial came just six months after the occasion at St. John's College at which President Hopkins received the LL.D. degree April 30.
