By taking a first and second place in the last two events of the Annual Winter Derby, Phi Gamma Delta gained a total of 21 points and a victory. Alpha Delta Phi took second place with 9 points, while Phi Kappa Sigma and Phi Sigma Kappa tied for third place with 5 points apiece. The other fraternities who scored were: Psi Upsilon 4, Zeta Psi 4, Theta Chi 3, Kappa Sigma 2, and Delta Tau Delta 1.
Phi Gamma Delta won both skating events; Metcalf taking the 220-yard speed skating, and the relay team composed of Crowther, Rolfe, Wilmot, and Metcalf winning the mile relay. W. C. MacCarty took first place in the ski-jumping for Alpha Delta Phi. In the two-mile cross-country ski race, MacDonald of Phi Kappa Sigma nosed out Sayre of Phi Gamma Delta. In the finals of the skiing relay the Phi Gamma Delta team made up of Robinson, Cleaves, Sayre and Trost completed the course in 18 minutes, 4 seconds, beating out the Zeta Psi team by 20 seconds.
