Loudon '14 Elected

At the annual fall meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Council in New York, November 10, the existing vacancy on the Athletic Council was filled by the election of P. W. Loudon '14 of Minneapolis. Mr. Loudon, who has been a member of the Alumni Council for six years, will fill the balance of the term of J. T. Gilman 'O5, recently deceased. "Red" Loudon was a star footballer in his undergraduate days and was also captain o£ both varsity baseball and basketball. He was the first winner of the Barrett Cup.

Following service in the British and. American Air Corps during the War he returned to Hanover to assist Coach C. W. Spears '17 in varsity football. He has retained an active connection with sports through his presidency of the Central Hockey League. He is an executive of Lane, Piper & Jaffrey, investment brokers.

The other two alumni members of the Athletic Council are now: C. G. McDavitt 'OO, and E. B. Dooley '27.
