According to figures published in the latest edition of The Darmouth CollegeBulletin, New York leads all states in students enrolled in the College with 540 men or 22.7 per cent of the total enrollment of 2,373. Massachusetts stands second with 502 men and New Jersey third with 219, while Connecticut, Illinois, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania follow in order with more than one hundred men each. In all, 44 states, the District of Columbia, and 12 foreign countries and territories are represented in Hanover. Students with foreign homes are from Hawaii, Panama Canal Zone, Porto Rico, Canada, England, France, Argentine Republic, Cuba, Germany, Holland, Syria, and the West Indies.
